Saving File and Program Output

To save a file, command line session or program output you can simply press Ctrl+S. If you are saving for the first time, a Save As dialog box will be opened allowing you to specify the file name and extension. FireCMD also allows you to save program's output as HTML.

Working with Tabs

FireCMD provides multi-tabbed environment. You can open upto 20 tabs simultaneously. You can switch between tabs by selecting the title of target tab or by moving the mouse wheel while the mouse cursor is over the tab's title. You can also use the Tabs menu which provides a list of tabs. "Next Tab" and "Previous Tab" actions of Tabs menu can also be used to move to next and previous tabs respectively.

To rename title of the current active tab, you can select "Rename Current Tab..." from Tabs menu. Note: You can't rename FireTXT text editor's title.

Taking Snapshot

To take snapshot of active tab simply use shortcut Ctrl+Alt+T. A snapshot will be taken and you will be provided a Save Snapshot dialog box which allows you to specify the image name and format. You can save the snapshot in the formats: PNG, JPEG, BMP and GIF. If you don't mention an extension while giving the file name, snapshot image will get saved in the PNG format and with a ".png" extension.

To take snapshot of active tab without the title, use shortcut Ctrl+Alt+S. If you want to take FireCMD's whole window snapshot or desktop screenshot, you can use shortcuts Ctrl+Alt+H or Ctrl+Alt+D respectively.
