Braina and Braina PRO Support / Re: Capitalization
Last post by saurav - Feb 22, 2022, 03:16 PM
You can use Sentencecase, Titlecase or Uppercase commands as per your needs. Please note that these commands are to be spoken individually and not with the same flow of dictation (i.e. pause before and after speaking the command).

Update: We have added 20 new commands specially for text casing operations in the latest update i.e. Braina version 1.54 .  Please refer "Dictate in any Software or Website" topic in the help documentation to see a list of all text casing commands.

Braina and Braina PRO Support / Capitalization in Dictation
Last post by Dannyea - Feb 09, 2022, 02:17 PM
Is there a command to capitalize a word in Braina??

I formerly used a dictation software and you could just say "Cap That" to capitalize your last word or sentence.

Nothing like that with Braina?? If there is please let me know.

You will simply need to enter command value as "dictation mode off" (without quotes) while creating a custom command.

The dictation commands only work when you are dictating in third party software like Notepad, Word etc. Please also note that you will need to speak these commands individually with a pause before and after (not continually with a spoken utterance for dictation.)

The dictation mode commands on [this page]https://www.brainasoft.com/braina/speech-to-text.html[/url] are not working for me. Dictation mode on / off works. The others don't. Do these need to be enabled in some way? Thanks.

Sometimes Braina reads the clipboard even when voice setting is off. This seems like a bug to me. Thanks.

Computer Vision / Re: What is Computer Vision?

Computer vision is a branch of artificial intelligence (AI) that allows computers and systems to extract useful information from digital photos, videos, and other visual inputs, as well as to conduct actions or make recommendations based on that data.

I'm having the same issue too.

I did an unistall and reinstall as administrator with the same results. I also have to login after every reboot.

I am running on an Asus ZenBook Flip 15
8GB RAM
Windows 11 Education

Hello,

I recently upgraded to Braina Pro and was wondering if there was a way to get Braina to read the dictation back to me right after it's finished typing/dictating it.

For example,

Step 1: I say "Testing 1 2 3"
Step 2: Braina dictates the speech as the text "Testing 1 2 3"
Step 3: Braina reads back the dictation text "Testing 1 2 3"

Currently I have this working by dictating into Notepad++ and using a text to speech plugin to read the last dictated line via an auto-hotkey script that copies the line repeatedly. Unfortunately the "Auto read copy text" does not work consistently enough for this to be available option.

Does anyone know an easier way to go about this or if Braina is capable of doing this? I'd much rather use a single piece of software and Braina's text to speech quality is much higher than the plugins.

Thanks,
Valdosa
