Speech Recognition Screen

Is there a way that I an get the speech recognition pop up window to default to full screen mode and stay in this mode. I am using Windows to run Braina to communicate with my deaf mother and the speech recognition pop up screen continually defaults back to the small pop up screen making it difficult for my mother to read what I am saying.
