Speak doesn't stay active

As of late the last few weeks, when I wish to converse with Braina I have to hit the speak button on my phone repeatedly, say 3 or 4 time for it to stay active long enough to start speaking. Is there a way to press it once and have it stay active until pushed again.

How ever it use to stay active at least long enough for me to start speaking!

@crazycajun Please tick "Delayed End of Speech Detection" from app settings.

It is ticked. I doesn't do it every time, but about 50% of the time it won't give enough time to begin speaking. I also wish that you could have it stay in a listening mode where you would not have to continually hit the button on the phone, this would make having a conversation much better.
Also is there a way to add a delay at the beginning of when braina starts to speak. I have tried using a Bluetooth speaker with my phone and it causes a slight delay which causes the first few words to be missed. This is not a issue with braina I know, but if I could introduce a delay to the response I might be able to get around the problem with the Bluetooth speaker.
