Title: Speech recognition
Post by: knight2000 on Aug 02, 2016, 02:43 PM
Hello, I was wondering what speech engine Braina uses? Does it come with a built in one or does it use the Microsoft engine that comes installed in windows?

I need to train my voice so Braina understands me better. The current issue I'm having is back-feeding. When I speak to Braina my microphone is picking up what Braina is saying and in turn Braina tries to respond to itself. It goes in a constant loop. I need to set a keyword to prevent this issue however that keyword I want to use is not being recognized. What some speech engines do is allow you to set a word to your voice. Example type word "test" then speak the word and it saves it. Is there a way to do this with Braina.

Thanks

@knight2000 Yes, you can set voice command prefix to solve this problem. Go to Tools menu -> Settings and tick "Enable Voice Command Prefix" ,  specify your prefix word and click on Ok button. Now you will need to speak the specified prefix word before giving any voice command.
