Weather for zipcode | On What bases does Braina show weather information

Why doesn't Braina know my weather? I mean not even close. Doesnt it use my zip code?

 Braina tells weather information for your city (not zipcode)

okay I understand but again it's not even close. How does it decide what city you are in?
