Exactly... And my cloud is called My Network Addressable Storage hosted by me and available to me and only me all the time which is why I asked you to let me sync (or save) the grocery list to my NAS from the very beginning. I don't need or want your cloud. Even if it is "free" which it probably won't be, it is at least intrusive.

I actually like this idea. It would appear to be pretty straight forward to implement:

1. In settings, define a list (or lists) NAME and path for the list (i.e.; TXT file)
-- MyToDoList  \\server\share\MyToDoList.txt
-- MyShopping c:\MyShopping.txt

2. Add xxxxx to MyToDoList, Appends xxxxx to the MyToDoList text file
3. Clear MyToDoList, deletes the contents or the entire file

I don't have much use for a grocery list, but I see how being able to write to a file could be very useful
