I can speak and everything shows in the input window but I get nothing from Braina. It says a greeting when I start it and reads copied text but no response of its own.

You might have dictation mode on. Turn it off to enter into command mode. When dictation mode is off, Braina interprets your commands and gives back reply.

Dictation Mode is off. Still the same.

Please send us a screenshot. Have you installed Braina in an administrator account or a normal user account?
