Title: Not recognising my accent
Post by: kansa on May 30, 2016, 02:20 PM
Hi

Braina has trouble understanding a number of my words - guess I have a slight accent.

How can I teach Braina to recognise my particular speech/words other than creating custom commands/replies? I even created custom replies but Braina keeps misunderstanding a word in my question so it gives me the wrong answer instead of the custom reply.

Thanks
BL

You will need to use Voice Recognition aliases to teach Braina recognize particular speech. Please check this post for a tutorial: https://www.brainasoft.com/braina/community/index.php/topic,71.msg293.html#msg293

I can do that for a few words. A suggestion for the future is to have the ability to teach Braina how I am speaking by reading text to the program which covers enough words so that the program recognises the particular  speech pattern. It is just not practical to replace every word Braina does not understand or misinterprets manually one by one.
