"Speak now" window doesn't refresh/clear

I am not sure if this is the standard way or not but at one time early with the program, the "Recognition started or speak now box" would display what you stated and retain it for a few minutes and then refresh to a clear screen.  Mine is retaining everything that is said until you end the program by closing out or give "stop listening" command.

Is there a reason why this has stopped refreshing.  Note: it does "present" itself like it refreshes by going blank or even if I manually refresh by F5, but the words are still there.

Yes, this behavior of the speak now window has changed.
